On-Line Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
Bemidji State University offers an entirely online Bachelor of Science Degree with a
Business Administration major in areas of emphases including Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship/Small Business Management. The online Business Administration major program permits you to complete your degree according to your schedule, at your convenience from anywhere in the world.*
*Note: Currently for assessment purposes, one on-campus visit is required before graduation.
The Program
The online Business Administration degree program is designed for those who have completed an Associate of Arts degree or for those who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in another field. The curriculum prepares students for entry into the business world or for graduate study. The program offers study in finance, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, small business management, computer information systems, and accounting.

Degree Summary
- 128 credits must be earned from all sources for your degree. Up to 88 credits can be from a community college*.
Additional rules apply for technical college applicants.
Transfer courses with grades of D or higher accepted. - Prefer completion of an AA degree or Minnesota Transfer Curriculum. Otherwise a course-by-course evaluation of liberal education courses is necessary.
- Forty credits at the 3000 or 4000 level.
- At least 30 credits must be from Bemidji State University.
- A minimum of 24 semester credits must be from the Bemidji State University Business Administration major. Major Field - minimum 2.25 GPA.
*Course equivalencies from community colleges are subject to department approval.
